Megan Mcgrath (She/Her)

Hey everyone, I’m Megan and I’ll be a panellist on Panel 2. I did my undergrad in Archaeology and Classical Studies at University College Dublin with my Erasmus at Masaryk University. And I am currently undertaking my Masters in Human Osteology and Paleopathology at the University of Bradford.

I’m very interested in Paleopathology and am considering doing my dissertation on disabilities and/or diseases in Roman-British populations. Which would perfectly tie in my love of paleopath and the classical world.

I post about my journey through academia on my YouTube channel and Instagram. I think it’s so important to open up archaeology to the public and to get people invested and involved. Which is why I am so excited to be involved with the UnArchaeology Conference this year.

Fun fact about me, when I’m not spending time in the lab or procrastinating study, I’m binge-watching shows on Netflix and being an overly anxious plant mom.

I am very excited to meet you all.
